Automechanika demonstrates strength through stability
Automechanika Frankfurt opens its doors for the 21st time from 14 to 19 September 2010. Judging from the number of registrations received to date, the leading international trade fair for the automobile industry will be characterised by stability on the exhibitor side, compared with the record event in 2008. Altogether, some 4,400 exhibitors and over 160,000 trade visitors are expected. Thus, the most important platform for the sector is set to give yet another impressive demonstration of its strength.

AMB 2010 on the road to success
AMB, the international exhibition for metal working, will be taking place from 28 September to 2 October 2010 at Messe Stuttgart directly beside Stuttgart Airport. This event is a window to the world of machine tools in Germany and is ranked second in the list of specialist industry trade fairs in Germany, directly after EMO. This leading trade fair for machine and precision tools has been catering to the ever increasing visitor and exhibitor requirements for over 20 years. The first AMB at the new Stuttgart Trade Fair Centre broke records with more than 85,000 visitors in attendance (2006: 48,000). The exhibitor figure has also risen significantly to reach over 1,200 (2006: 805).

Innotrans - the signals point to the future
A railway network must be state-of-the-art and be maintained to satisfy the necessary requirements in order for trains to run safely, efficiently and on time. As levels of quality and cross-border technology increase, so too does the demand for innovative developments in rail infrastructure. The Railway Infrastructure section at InnoTrans 2010 reflects these developments. The focus here is on showcasing new products and services as well as on exchanging views on topics such as rail track technology, construction methods, and signalling and control systems.
